Custom trips and expeditions - We design and arrange custom individual travel or group expeditions for many activities including climbing or mountaineering, trekking, vehicle supported cycle touring, and foreign licensed motor vehicle entry and travel in China arrangement. If you are an individual wanting to arrange an expedition, we can make inclusive or partial arrangements depending on your specifications.

We can do arranging for small and large groups, both wholesale and retail. If you are a climbing expedition or tour operator, please contact us for a wholesale price quote on your itinerary.

For expeditions we can make all arrangements up to base camp on K2, Muztagh Ata, Kongur, Everest, Ulugh Muztagh or any peaks open for climbing in the Chinese Karakoram, Pamir, Himalaya, Tian Shan, Kunlun or Altun Tagh mountain ranges.

If you wish to drive your foreign-licensed car, motor home or motorcycle into China, we make all the arrangements for this type of trip. Please contact us for details.
 

Borders and Pass Crossing Information -

In Xinjiang the main entry and exit passes are Khunjerab Pass, Irkeshtam Pass, Torugart Pass and Korgas. Khunjerab Pass opens every year on about May 1 depending on how passable the Karakoram Highway is. Khunjerab Pass stays open until late fall or early winter - later November or into December - depending on when enough snow comes to close the KKH. Torugart Pass is open seasonally on weekdays spring through early winter. Irkeshtam Pass is open daily.
